Finally it smells like Christmas here at home!
Because this month also means a lot of work for the two of us, it was hard to get all the Christmas decorations before. And yet, there's still some things missing...
Finalmente cheira a Natal aqui em casa!
Como este mês significa também muito trabalho para nós, foi difícil conseguirmos tratar de todas as decorações natalícias antes. E mesmo assim ainda faltam algumas coisinhas…
Because this is the first year in a new home with lot's of thing missing to decor, Christmas decorations turn out to be another expense here at home. Our luck is that in my family we keep all the things that are no longer in use but still in good condition as is the case of our tree (my mother bought this artificial tree when my brother was born, 22 years ago!). To this, we join some Christmas balls and ribbons that we found in Ikea (which happens to be with discount) and a few typical plants of this holiday season, but all natural.
Como se trata do primeiro ano numa casa nova com muita coisa ainda por decorar, as decorações de Natal acabam por ser mais uma despesa cá para casa. A nossa sorte é que na minha família guarda-se muita coisa que já não se usa mas que ainda está em bom estado como é o caso da nossa árvore (a minha mãe comprou esta árvore artificial quando o meu irmão nasceu há 22 anos!). A isto juntamos bolas e fitas que encontramos no Ikea (que por acaso até estavam com desconto) e umas quantas plantas típicas desta época natalícia, mas tudo natural.
It may not be an abundant decoration, but it was made with love and I think that is quite cozy. I can really feel the smell of Christmas here at home ♡
Pode não ser uma decoração abundante, mas foi feita com muito amor e penso que ficou bastante aconchegante. Sinto mesmo o cheirinho de Natal cá em casa ♡
